Orbits
At moments of planetary conjunction the planets seem to approach each other in Earth's night sky. From our perspective these celestial bodies are coming together as old friends who have not danced together for 800 years.
Inspired by the Solar System's two gas giants Jupiter and Saturn that will form a ‘double planet’ on December 21st 2020 for the first time since the Middle Ages.
A poetic crossing of paths that feels monumental after a year on Earth where human orbits have been held apart; now we hold a greater appreciation for the energy expelled at moments of physical conjunction.
30 signed, original Artwork Cards painted with traditional Indian Ink on 100% recycled A4 card.
To gift or keep unfolded and display as an A4 Artwork or to fold along the centre crease and send as an A5 greetings card.
Every Artwork Card comes flat in a biodegradable A4 transparent sleeve with a 100% recycled A5 envelope, if you choose to send as a folded greetings card.
